Beautiful paddle. Easy adjustment. Great on placing drives and consistent soft game touch! Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
Been playing a few times with this paddle. Soft and plush deeling paddle, i have added weight at 3 and 9, thus making it even more stable and powerful.
On the other hand, slightly lighter compare to CF3 16mm power which helps me a lot at the kitchen area.
This one is quite deceptive and slow charmer. When I first started playing with it, nothing felt special...everything was quite ordinary, I was mildly disappointed.
However, I persisted with it and then around 20 hour game play mark it started delivering and how. It has the soft plushness that reminds of Gen 1 paddles. It now pockets the ball like a pillow and subsequent control you get from that is outstanding. There's decent power for put aways, but it's best to expect the ball could come back. Drops are super consistent. I reckon the spin is higher end of moderate.
This is best for anyone who is into manoeuvring the ball and is big on their touch game or even blocking bangers. Give it time and treats will come.
Great paddle great control
Loved my CF3 16 Power but wanted to give the Control a try. And it did not disappoint! Doesn't sacrifice much in the way of power but placement of tougher shots seemed to be a little easier! I really enjoy this version and use it equally with the Power version based upon conditions and how I feel. Having both of these in my bag gives me some great options!
