CF4 has all the power as promised, but what makes it a special is that the power is available on demand. There is no surprise pop up when opponent speed up.
After a bit of break-in the paddle becomes plush enough to get a nice dwell time. The paddle has a bit of break in period, after which dinking and drops gets easier albeit with a bit of adjustment, which can be annoying, so be patient. There's enough put away power available from get go, but the charm of this new core is that improves the control and touch game as well. You have to experiment a bit with weight tape set up to extract that extra 10% of performance. Although it plays pretty nice stock as well.
Easily the best choices in the market for the price, in its category.
I have use all the paddles from standout line. This is the best!! Very good control.. Power readily available. I have added about 1 gram on 3 and 9 for additional stability... And still very maneuverable at the kitchen...Congratulations standout!

Coming from the KC1 this paddle has more power, has good grit on the face for spin, and still has great control.
Wow, this thing is NEXT level! Outstanding job SO. I played with this for a few hours this morning, lent it to some power players and not one bad word about it. The power when you need it is well above the KC1 which I thought was high! I have to stand about 1.5m behind the serve line to keep it in. The dinks are super smooth and easy. The resets and drops and crystal. My new go to paddle without a doubt. Will be very surprised if this paddle gets any bad reviews or comments. Stop thinking, just buy one!!’
